AI MathScanner is a math OCR app that digitizes entire pages of mathematical content — multi-column exam sheets, research papers, even chemistry structures — rather than just one formula at a time. It reconstructs the original page layout at 1:1 fidelity, so the scanned result keeps the structure of the source instead of collapsing into a single block of text. Formulas export as native OMML directly into Microsoft Word, letting you edit them without touching LaTeX, though LaTeX export is supported too. The app runs in two modes: a cloud AI mode tuned for speed, and an on-device mode for privacy-sensitive documents that you would rather not send to a server.
