Artbreeder generates and evolves images by blending existing visuals together, letting users ""breed"" images by mixing content, style, and genetic-style parameters. It's been used by writers, game designers, and worldbuilders to create characters and environments since 2019.

The platform's approach differs from prompt-based tools: instead of describing what you want, you blend what already exists.
