Auday

Auday is an AI productivity tool for Apple Watch that turns the watch into an all-day recorder, capturing voice alongside health and activity data so you can reflect on your day, recall what mattered, and rediscover details. It is aimed at Apple Watch users who want a continuous record of daily life rather than isolated notes or workouts. Auday keeps 24/7 original audio with on-device transcription, tracks heart rate with real-time stress estimation, and logs 80+ workout types and location changes. You can mark manual highlights to replay or ask AI about later, and an AI chat lets you reflect, recall, and replay moments with citations back to the source recording. Almost everything runs locally, with optional cloud AI that uses your own API key and bills directly through the provider; about 30 days of HD audio plus AI content uses roughly 3.5 GB. For readers browsing productivity tools on BestAIFor, the distinguishing points are local-first processing and a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, which makes it notable for privacy-conscious users who dislike recurring fees.
