What is BookAI?
BookAI is an AI appointment scheduling tool that combines booking, customer messaging, and billing into one dashboard for service businesses like clinics, salons, garages, and coaching practices. The system handles inbound bookings by answering customer questions and suggesting available time slots, then prevents double-bookings by enforcing service durations and availability rules. Customer communication runs over WhatsApp through a Twilio integration that sends confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and AI-drafted replies automatically. Each business operates in its own isolated workspace, with separate user data and appointments, so a multi-location or multi-brand operator can keep records cleanly separated. Billing is handled through PayPal, covering free trials, monthly plans, plan changes, and cancellations without leaving the platform. The admin dashboard shows booking sources, cancellation tracking, and subscription status, and the stack uses Supabase authentication with row-level security and role-based access for data protection. BookAI is aimed at small service operators who want to reduce no-shows, cut manual scheduling work, and centralize customer reminders. Common use cases include managing salon and clinic appointments, automating booking reminders, and running paid subscription billing for recurring services.
