Bookletto for Family

Bookletto for Family is an AI family storytelling app for iPhone and iPad that generates personalized children's stories and reads them aloud in the parent's own voice. You pick a topic and a target age, and the app generates a new story draft that you can edit in its library; separately, you record voice samples that Bookletto turns into a synthetic voice used to narrate the stories. That means a parent who is traveling or stuck at work can still have bedtime stories read in their voice. Concrete features include on-device story generation, parent voice cloning, a story library with editing, a presentation mode with large text, and playback controls that support background listening and saved progress. Everything runs locally: story generation and voice narration happen on the device, and prompts, story text, and voice recordings stay on it rather than going to a server, which is a genuine privacy point for a kids' product and part of why we flag it on BestAIFor. It requires iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later. No pricing is shown on the page, so cost is unclear, and being iOS-only rules out Android households.
