What is CastDex?
CastDex is a fishing-log app that turns your real catches into a private, game-style collection. Each catch becomes a detailed FishDex dossier with GPS-safe location data, so you can share what you caught and the general area without giving away your exact spots. As you log more species, CastDex tracks mastery progress, sets quests, awards XP, and lets you earn shareable trophies that mark milestones in your angling. The result is part record-keeping, part collection game: a way to remember every trip while building a personal catalog of species and personal bests. CastDex suits recreational anglers who want an organized, private log of their catches and some lightweight progression and bragging rights without revealing the precise locations they fish.
