ChatGPT Session Saver

ChatGPT Session Saver is an AI productivity tool, a free Chrome extension, that extracts ChatGPT conversations and exports them as structured text files. Instead of scrolling back through a long thread or losing a chat once it drops off the sidebar, you capture the conversation as organized question-and-answer pairs you can search, reuse, and archive. The extension gives you control over how much you save: the entire chat, or just the last 10, 20, or 30 Q&A pairs, extracting from your current position either upward or downward through the conversation. It supports multiple tabs with independent extraction jobs running at once, and it presents questions and answers in separate searchable columns. Processing happens locally in the browser with nothing sent to a server, and there is no ChatGPT API key, external account, or manual ZIP setup required; output is a downloadable TXT file. For researchers, developers, students, and knowledge workers asking what is the best AI for preserving and reusing ChatGPT conversations, this tool covers the narrow job well. The limits follow from that focus: it exports plain TXT only, works specifically with ChatGPT, and is maintained by an independent developer.
