Claude for Google Workspace

Claude for Google Workspace is an AI productivity tool that brings Claude directly into Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides so teams can draft, analyze, and build without leaving the document they are in. From a single install it works across three surfaces: in Docs it drafts from scratch, tightens wording and structure, and returns edits as suggestions you apply or dismiss; in Sheets it builds financial models, analyzes data, and pulls in live numbers from connected sources; in Slides it creates slides using your existing layouts, edits selections, and flags overlapping elements. Because edits arrive as reviewable suggestions, you accept changes rather than having content overwritten, and Claude preserves existing formatting and theme styles. It can use connectors to pull context from other tools, save reusable processes as skills, and read uploaded reference files such as PDFs, CSVs, and Office documents. Admin controls limit Claude's access to only the files a user has opened, which matters for teams weighing data exposure. The add-on is in beta and available on all paid Claude plans.
