Clique is an AI-powered social networking app that connects people through shared interests rather than location, built initially for expats living in the UAE. Instead of dating, Clique focuses on friendships and community: users join "Interest Circles" — AI-matched groups around sports, culture, food, business, parenthood, and language — and discover relevant in-person meetups through Smart Event Discovery. A built-in social concierge called Cleo AI learns each member's preferences and recommends people and events to attend. The platform adds verified profiles with trust scoring, mutual-consent matching, and speed-networking events to make connections feel intentional and safe. Event curators get their own tools to create events, manage RSVPs, view analytics, and monetise through ticketing and membership tiers, while attendees earn Clique Coins and event badges for showing up. Clique is currently invite-only in beta, with founding-member perks such as bonus Clique Coins.
