CrestClip

CrestClip is an AI video clip maker that turns long-form videos — YouTube uploads, Twitch streams, podcasts, and webinars — into vertical short-form clips for social media, picking moments viewers actually rewatch. Its most-replayed detection reads YouTube replay graphs and timestamp comments to find high-engagement moments, then an AI virality score rates candidate clips on nine factors including hook, payoff, emotion, and shareability so you post the strongest cuts first. Each clip is auto-reframed to 9:16, including split-screen handling for two on-camera hosts, and gets word-by-word captions in one of five customizable styles placed inside safe zones. CrestClip also generates hook headlines for the first three seconds, produces one-click variants of a clip to avoid duplicate-content penalties, and writes post-ready metadata — titles, captions, and hashtags. For a BestAIFor reader comparing short-form clipping tools, CrestClip's distinguishing feature is sourcing clips from real replay data rather than transcript keywords alone, which aims the output at moments an audience has already shown it rewatches. It targets creators, podcasters, agencies, and streamers on a regular posting schedule. The free plan watermarks exports and caps resolution, so weekly publishers will likely need a paid tier for clean 1080p output.
