Daft Music 3.0

Daft Music is a third-party macOS music player that acts as an alternative front end to Apple Music, built for Mac users who want a richer browsing, playback, and discovery experience than the native app offers. Built with SwiftUI and AppKit, it layers features Apple's Music app lacks on top of an existing Apple Music subscription. Concrete features include human-curated mixtapes tied to your library, artist and song radio stations plus Shazam-enabled radio, instrument isolation, a ten-band equalizer, and imports from Spotify and Tidal including subscribing to Spotify playlists. It adds iCloud sync, daily backups, Last.fm scrobbling, AirPlay to any speaker, Handoff, full-text and Spotlight search, playlist folders, Siri with Apple Intelligence, Shortcuts and AppleScript support, animated covers, artist bios and timelines, and AI detection on tracks, across eleven languages. On BestAIFor's directory, Daft Music fits macOS listeners who already pay for Apple Music and want deeper discovery, library curation, and playback control. The one hard requirement: it needs an active Apple Music subscription to work.

Browsing, curating, and discovering an Apple Music library on macOS with mixtapes, radio, equalizer, and Spotify/Tidal imports.
