What is EUVOLA?
EUVOLA is an AI companion device built for emotional support and long-term companionship rather than answering general questions. It is a standalone piece of hardware with an interactive display that shows responsive "eyes," proximity sensors that detect when you are near, a speaker, mood-adaptive ambient lighting, and a touch interface. The device uses short-term memory for natural back-and-forth conversation and long-term memory that builds on what matters to you over time, so it becomes more personalized the longer you use it. You can pick from a library of more than ten pre-made companions or create your own by uploading a photo and a 30-second audio clip to generate a custom avatar of a loved one, a celebrity, or a cherished memory. On privacy, Euvola lists end-to-end encryption, real-time data anonymization, a one-click permanent deletion option, a data transparency dashboard, and no advertising model. The page references Kickstarter availability but does not list a final retail price. Euvola is aimed at people who want a dedicated, judgment-free companion presence at home, including those dealing with loneliness or wanting to preserve the memory of someone close.
