Overview / Description
FreightSafe is a DOT compliance app for commercial truck drivers that uses an AI Bill of Lading (BOL) scanner to flag errors and compliance issues the moment you photograph a document—then explains how to fix them. It packages the reference material drivers need into one place so paperwork problems get caught before they become violations.
Owner-operators and fleet drivers use FreightSafe to stay compliant on the road without digging through manuals. Alongside the BOL scanner, it includes a hazmat placard lookup with CFR citations, offline driver reference materials, Hours of Service (HOS) rules, pre-trip checklists, and an Inspection Mode built for showing documentation to DOT officers.
FreightSafe works offline and is built around privacy—it does not collect user data—which suits drivers who handle sensitive load information. It is currently an iOS app, so Android users will need an alternative. For commercial drivers who want a quick compliance check and a reference library in their pocket, it covers the common roadside needs.
