What is Gnarly CV?
Gnarly CV is an AI resume builder that helps job seekers create and iteratively refine a resume tailored to the roles they are applying for. Built by a developer who used it to land backend engineering interviews, the tool focuses on letting you work through a resume with constant changes and improvements until you have a version you are confident in. The web app, branded simply as "Resume Generator," runs in the browser so there is nothing to install. Its origin story is grounded in real use: the creator built it to solve their own job-search pain, refined their CV through repeated edits in the tool, received positive feedback on the result, and decided to make it publicly available so other applicants could benefit. Gnarly CV is aimed at job seekers — particularly developers and tech candidates — who want help structuring and polishing a CV rather than starting from a blank page. It is a lightweight, single-purpose resume tool rather than a full job-search suite, suited to people who want to draft, iterate on, and finalize a clean resume quickly.
