Overview / Description
GuardianX is a neutral, community-powered safety layer for AI tools that fills a gap no major directory addresses: an honest, user-sourced record of how AI applications actually behave in the real world — not how their vendors describe them.
Anyone can search for an AI app, read submitted reviews, rate it on accuracy and trustworthiness, or file a harm incident report if the tool caused real-world damage (such as dangerous medical advice, financial misguidance, or manipulative output). Every app receives a single aggregated safety score built entirely from community input — no sponsored placements, no paid rankings, no vendor influence.
The project originated after the founder's friend received dangerous health advice from an AI chatbot and discovered there was nowhere neutral to verify whether an AI tool was actually reliable before trusting it with something high-stakes. GuardianX exists to make that verification possible: a living, crowdsourced record that grows more accurate as more people contribute their real experiences.
