Liminal

Liminal is an AI-agent workspace and shared second brain for you, your agents, and your team, built on top of the local markdown and HTML files your agent already writes. A lightweight CLI watches your workspace folder and syncs it bidirectionally with the cloud, so when an agent writes a file locally, Liminal renders it as clean UI in the browser and syncs it to your team in real time. You share a link and everyone sees the same live workspace, editable in the browser, instead of pasting markdown into Slack, self-hosting HTML, or waiting on Google Drive. Because files stay on local disk as plain markdown and HTML, every agent has direct access to everything the team has written, with no MCP calls, no proprietary formats, and no context lost between sessions. Liminal adds per-file permissions similar to Notion or Google Docs, and works offline: files stay available locally and merge or resolve conflicts when you reconnect. Over time it becomes a shared knowledge base that keeps updating as the team works. Liminal is aimed at individuals and teams who work primarily inside AI agents such as Claude Code and want a collaborative workspace their agents can read and write directly. It is currently free.
