MakerLoft is an AI app builder that turns a plain-language description into working code and deploys it to hosting accounts you own. You describe what you want in a conversation and the AI writes, tests, and ships it, then keeps watch: when a build fails, a deploy errors out, or the running app crashes, the AI reads the exact error and pushes a fix — a self-healing loop that is the platform's core feature. Static sites deploy free to GitHub Pages, while full-stack apps run on your own DigitalOcean account, and every project gets a temporary live-preview URL immediately so you can see it before publishing. MakerLoft is GitHub-native, so all code lives in your repositories with no lock-in, and you bring your own AI API keys and can swap models mid-project. Under the hood it uses Laravel 13, PHP 8.3, and MySQL. Two honest caveats: hosting and AI API usage are billed separately by GitHub, DigitalOcean, and your AI provider on top of the subscription, and the DigitalOcean/GitHub setup means it is less turnkey than fully hosted no-code builders.
