NotedSource

NotedSource is an AI-powered platform that connects companies with academic researchers for collaborative research and development projects. Organizations post research needs or product development challenges, and NotedSource matches them with relevant university researchers whose expertise aligns with those specific problems—creating industry-academia partnerships that would otherwise require significant networking effort to establish.

Product teams, R&D departments, and innovation leads use NotedSource when they need specialized academic expertise that doesn't exist internally. A biotech company working on a materials science problem, or a tech firm exploring a new computer vision application, can use NotedSource to find and engage researchers with directly relevant publication records.

NotedSource facilitates introductions and collaboration structuring but is not a research outsourcing service—organizations still need to manage the actual research relationship, IP agreements, and project timelines themselves. The platform is most useful for companies that have a clear research question and sufficient budget for academic collaboration. Teams looking for quick answers or low-cost feasibility studies may find the engagement model more involved than expected.
