PrivacyCrop

PrivacyCrop is an AI image editing tool that crops, resizes, removes backgrounds, blurs sensitive areas, and strips metadata entirely in-browser for privacy-conscious designers and individuals. All processing runs locally using JavaScript, Canvas, and WebAssembly — your images never leave your device and no account is required.

The toolkit covers four core workflows. The Crop and Resize module includes platform-exact presets for passports (2×2 inch at 600×600 px), social media formats (Instagram Story at 1080×1920, TikTok Shop at 1200×1200, Twitter/X header, Facebook cover, YouTube thumbnail), and e-commerce marketplaces such as Taobao. Background removal runs on-device and lets you choose a transparent, white, red, or blue replacement background after the cut. The Privacy Blur module offers three concealment modes — Mosaic pixelates for strong anonymization, Blur softens edges, and Cover fills the selected region with a solid color for maximum redaction. The Metadata Scrubber strips EXIF data, GPS coordinates, and AI-provenance tags including C2PA, SynthID, DALL-E, Midjourney, and Gemini markers by re-exporting the image from a clean canvas.
