Prompt-Pad

Prompt-Pad is an AI productivity Chrome extension that lets prompt engineers, developers, and researchers build and reuse modular prompt systems directly inside ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Instead of rewriting or copy-pasting instructions session after session, users store up to 24 color-coded prompt blocks across four customizable categories and inject any block into the active AI textarea with a single click. A Shift-Click append mode concatenates multiple blocks without overwriting existing input, enabling iterative, multi-step queries without disruption. Two Persistent Context Engines hold background variables — such as coding standards or project architecture notes — that auto-append to every prompt, keeping systemic instructions consistent across a conversation. The floating UI sits as a collapsible overlay on top of the AI tab and supports drag-and-drop reordering of the prompt library, so it never interferes with the underlying interface. Privacy is a core design constraint: all data is stored locally in chrome.storage.local with zero telemetry, no external scripts, no analytics, and Shadow DOM isolation, making Prompt-Pad suitable for teams handling sensitive or proprietary context. The entire prompt library can be exported as a JSON backup file. Prompt-Pad is available as a one-time purchase with no subscription required, and the extension is English-only at version 0.1.2.
