Qelvora

Qelvora is an AI writing tool for Mac that corrects, rewrites, and translates text locally using your own Ollama models, so drafts never leave your machine. It runs as a native menu-bar app on macOS 14 and later. You work in two ways: select editable text in any app and let Qelvora clean it up, or press a global shortcut and draw a rectangle around visible on-screen words — Qelvora then OCRs that region and corrects or translates it, which is useful in surfaces like Discord where the composer and message history do not behave like a normal document editor. Because both the OCR and the Ollama model run on-device, the tool is private by default and does not send your text to a cloud editor. Qelvora is open source under the MIT license and ships as a notarized, signed DMG with Sparkle-based updates; the current build shown is v0.1.27. It is aimed at Mac users who want fast, on-device correction, rewriting, and translation without an account or a subscription.
