Overview / Description
revAIser is a local AI proofreading tool that keeps you in control of every edit. Rather than rewriting your text and leaving you to guess what changed, it shows the AI's suggestions side-by-side with your original in a diff view. You step through each proposed correction and accept the ones that work while skipping the rest, which is useful for a last-mile check on an email or document where you want to see exactly what was altered. Privacy is a core part of the design: revAIser operates offline on your device, so your text isn't sent to an intermediary server that collects it. It runs on Groq's free API key or one you supply yourself, giving you a choice over which model handles the proofreading. Distributed through the Microsoft Store, it targets Windows writers who want transparent, reviewable edits. The trade-off is that stepping through changes individually is more deliberate than one-click rewriting, and it needs an API key to run.
Used For
Writers use revAIser to proofread text locally, reviewing each AI-suggested edit in a side-by-side diff before accepting or rejecting it.
