Session Bridge AI

Session Bridge AI is an AI developer tool, delivered as a VS Code extension, that preserves coding context across AI assistants so you don't lose work when a model runs out of credits mid-session. It maintains a running SESSION.md file in your project, automatically capturing git diffs, open files, and progress notes. When you switch tools, one keystroke copies a full handoff prompt to the clipboard so the next AI assistant, whether Claude, Gemini, or Codex, can pick up exactly where the last one stopped. It also includes a token dashboard that reads Claude Code's local telemetry to show what you are burning and what it costs, with daily and weekly spend limits, budget alerts, peak-hour warnings for high-demand Claude periods, and task-complexity-based model recommendations. Auto-save triggers after a configurable message threshold, and timestamped session snapshots allow restoration. API keys are stored securely in VS Code's secret storage. The extension itself is free; you supply your own provider API keys. It is built for developers who juggle multiple AI coding tools and want continuity plus cost visibility.
