ux-skill is an AI design tool for developers that compiles a deterministic design language into AI code generation workflows, preventing AI editors from producing generic or off-brand UI output. It works as a structured set of slash commands, sub-agents, and brand design specifications consumed by Claude Code and compatible AI coding tools — without using a language model in the loop for its own processing, which means it runs offline and produces consistent results regardless of LLM non-determinism. The system includes 18 slash commands, 5 sub-agents, 30+ Polaris-style design references, and 1,243 structured design entries across 160 brand specifications covering names like Apple, Stripe, Linear, Figma, and Tesla. A 7-axis synthesis system evaluates output across warmth, contrast, density, geometry, formality, motion, and type dimensions. A deterministic regex linter checks generated code against 152 anti-patterns, flagging design violations before they reach production. Mobile rendering is verified at true 360px and 390px viewports, failing builds that introduce horizontal scroll. Brand anchoring uses actual logo pixel colors rather than approximate palettes. ux-skill is free and open-source under the MIT license, installable via pip or npx. It integrates with 17 IDEs including Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Copilot, and is aimed at design engineers who need generated UI to match specific brand standards rather than resemble generic AI output.
