Agentbox.id is an AI automation tool that provides dedicated IMAP/SMTP email mailboxes for AI agents and agentic frameworks. Developers and AI builders who run automated agent workflows need a reliable way for those agents to send and receive email without sharing personal inboxes or configuring complex mail servers. Agentbox.id solves this by instantly generating a unique mailbox address and credentials — including IMAP host, SMTP host, username, and password — that can be pasted directly into any agent framework.

The service works with popular agent orchestration tools including n8n, LangGraph, CrewAI, Mastra, Hermes, and OpenClaw, as well as any framework that speaks standard IMAP and SMTP protocols. Registration uses your personal email; first-time users receive a randomly generated mailbox, while returning users retrieve their previously configured credentials immediately.

Current constraints are clearly documented: the service is free with one agent mailbox per registered user, a 100 MB storage cap, and read mail deleted after 30 minutes to conserve space. Outbound email is rate-limited to 50 messages per hour per mailbox. Inbound communication is currently restricted to 1-on-1 exchanges with the registered email address, with whitelist support planned for a future release.
