CODFY Cash on Delivery

CODFY Cash on Delivery is a Shopify e-commerce tool that lets merchants control when the cash-on-delivery (COD) payment method appears at checkout, built for stores in COD-heavy markets such as India. Instead of offering COD on every order, you set conditional rules: minimum and maximum order values that qualify for COD, and custom fees applied to COD transactions to offset the higher return risk. Geographic targeting works by uploading a CSV of postal or zip codes where COD is allowed, so the option only shows for deliverable areas. You can also filter eligibility by customer phone number and email address to block repeat non-payers, rename or hide payment methods at checkout, and configure shipping rates shown on the storefront. For Indian merchants the app includes a specialized COD order form. The app is published by MageComp and carries a 5.0 rating across its early reviews. For a BestAIFor reader comparing COD apps, CODFY's draw is rule-based gating plus a COD fee in one install, aimed at cutting failed deliveries rather than just toggling the method on. It is a focused checkout utility, not a full fraud-prevention or logistics suite, so pair it with order-verification tooling if abandoned COD orders are your main problem.

Gating the cash-on-delivery payment method at Shopify checkout by order value, delivery zip code, and customer phone or email, and adding COD fees.
