Interview AI Assistant is an AI career tool delivered as a browser extension that gives real-time, personalized coaching during practice interviews directly in your browser. Once installed it adds a sidebar that listens to the active tab, captures and transcribes spoken interview questions, and generates context-aware candidate answers tailored to your uploaded resume, the job description and company culture. Its grounded features include real-time transcription via local Web Speech APIs with optional cloud speech from Groq or Gemini; AI answer generation through providers like Hugging Face, OpenRouter and Google Gemini; full STAR-method structuring (Situation, Task, Action, Result) for behavioral questions plus concise scenario-based technical explanations; a choice between a detailed sidebar or a minimal draggable floating start/stop button; and Telegram bot integration that mirrors questions and AI answers to a second device. Audio processing and prompt analysis run primarily on your local device, and you store your profile, job descriptions and API keys in the extension's popup. It is aimed at candidates preparing for technical, behavioral or managerial interviews — including virtual and mock interviews — who want private, role-specific coaching. Note it is an early-stage Edge add-on with a small user base.
